Jordan Johnson Named MAC East Division Player of the Week

BUFFALO, NY – After his historic performance against Akron, Jordan Johnson was named the Mid-American Conference East Division Offense Player of the Week, the conference announced on Monday.

Johnson rushed for a school-record 282 yards and two touchdowns in Buffalo's 41-20 win over Akron. He broke a school record that stood since 1991. Johnson only carried the ball 24 times for an 11.8 yards-per-carry average. He had touchdown runs of 61 and 39 yards and had 10 carries of at least 10 yards.
