BUFFALO, NY – University at Buffalo wide receiver Anthony Johnson has been added to the Biletnikoff Watch List, the Tallahassee Quarterback Club Foundation announced on Wednesday. The Biletnikoff Award annually recognizes the outstanding receiver in college football.
Through six games, Johnson has been outstanding for the Bulls. The junior receiver has 37 catches for 631 yards and five touchdowns – all team highs. Johnson ranks first in the Mid-American Conference and fifth in receiving yards. He also leads the MAC and ranks 12th in the nation in touchdown receptions.
Johnson has already posted two 11-catch games on the season in games at Minnesota and against Western Michigan.
