JoAnna Smith Goes Off For A Career-High 31 As Bulls Run Past Kent State, 77-62

BUFFALO, NY – Behind a career-high 31 points from senior JoAnna Smith, the University at Buffalo women's basketball team (16-6, 6-5 MAC) ran past the Kent State Golden Flashes on Saturday afternoon in front of 1,889 fans at Alumni Arena, 77-62. The Bulls dominated the Golden Flashes out in transition as they won the fast break category 21-2.

The difference in the game for the Bulls was their transition scoring and the production from their bench. UB collected a season-high 21 fast break points while the UB bench combined for 22 points in the 15-point victory.
