CLEVELAND, OH – University at Buffalo quarterback Tyree Jackson was named the Mid-American Conference East Division Offensive Player of the Week, the league announced on Monday. It is the seventh time this season a UB player has been named Player of the Week and Jackson is the sixth different Bull to earn the honor.
Jackson completed 23-of-37 passes for a career-high 406 yards and three touchdowns in Buffalo's 38-28 win over Bowling Green on Tuesday night. He had touchdown passes of 21, 69 and 37 yards. His 406 passing yards were the ninth most in school history for a single game and the fourth highest total in the Bulls' FBS era (since 1999).
