BUFFALO, NY – After his historic performance against Western Michigan on Saturday, University at Buffalo quarterback Drew Anderson has received multiple awards and honors.
The junior signal-caller was named the Mid-American Conference East Division Player of the Week on Monday after posting the greatest single-game performance in the conference history.
Anderson threw for a school-record 597 yards and seven touchdowns and added another touchdown on the ground in a 71-68 seven-overtime loss to Western Michigan on Saturday. Anderson's 597 passing yards were not only a school record, but also the most for a single game in Mid-American Conference history.
