January 21, 2019 Buffalo junior Summer Hemphill averaged a double-double on the week with 15.5 ppg and 12.0 rpg to help lead the Bulls to wins over Ball State and Western Michigan. Against Ball State, Hemphill had 12 points, 10 rebounds, three assists and a block in 30 minutes of action in a 77-65 win over the Cardinals. At Western Michigan Hemphill had a game-high 19 points, including the game-winning basket at the buzzer off a full court pass from Cierra Dillard. The junior added 14 rebounds and two blocks in the two point win.
