BUFFALO, NY – Matt Gildersleeve has been tabbed the new head football strength and conditioning coach at the University at Buffalo, head coach Lance Leipold announced on Tuesday. Gildersleeve comes from the University of Akron where he spent the past seven seasons. He will oversee UB football's strength program as well as the nutrition program and fueling station.
Gildersleeve just concluded his seventh season at Akron, his third season as the director of football strength and conditioning, and his first as the nutrition specialist. He was promoted to director in the spring of 2016 after serving as the head coach of football strength and conditioning for two seasons.
