Donyell Marshall Named Head Coach At Central Connecticut State

BUFFALO, NY – University at Buffalo men's basketball assistant coach Donyell Marshall has been named the head men's basketball coach at Central Connecticut State, the school announced on Wednesday afternoon. Marshall spent one season at UB, helping the Bulls to the 2016 MAC Championship and their second straight berth in the NCAA Tournament.

Marshall was in charge of the UB post players, assisting in the development of redshirt freshman Ikenna Smart and freshman Nick Perkins, who scored 20 points in UB's NCAA Tournament appearance vs. Miami (FL). Marshall was in charge of developing scouting reports throughout the season and also worked with the entire team on long-range shooting.
