BRONX, NY – The University at Buffalo women's basketball team (10-0, 0-0 MAC) gutted out their 10th straight win to open the season on Thursday afternoon in the opening round of the Fordham Holiday Classic. The Bulls used some clutch free throws down the stretch to earn the 58-54 win over the Fordham Rams. With the win, the Bulls set the program record for the best start to a season, 10-0, while also notching the first win over the Rams in program history.
The Buffalo offense was led once again by their floor general Stephanie Reid who netted a season-high 21 points, five rebounds, four assists and four steals in 40 minutes of work.
