BOWLING GREEN, OH – The University at Buffalo women's tennis team won their eighth straight match and improved to 4-0 in league play with a 7-0 sweep of Bowling Green on Sunday afternoon. The Falcons entered the match also undefeated in league play, but fell to a red-hot UB squad. With the win, the Bulls improve to 11-3 on the year overall.
The Bulls opened with two of the three wins at doubles, scoring victories at two and three. Senior Tanja Stojanovska and sophomore Anna Savchenko won at two, 6-4, while sophomore Emel Abibula and junior Arianna Paules Aldrey won at third doubles, 6-2.
