KENT, OH – The University at Buffalo track and field team completed the first day of action at the Mid-American Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships hosted by Kent State University on Friday. After day one, the men's team sits in fourth place and the women's team is in ninth place as the teams were led by throwers Sam Wray and Jess Dhaliwall who both had podium finishes for the Bulls.
Wray hit a personal record in the men's weight throw event, hauling the weight to 19.65m, besting the third place finisher from Central Michigan by .
