BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo baseball team dropped both games of a doubleheader to Canisius at the Demske Sports Complex on Tuesday afternoon. The Golden Griffins won game one, 6-5, and game two, 13-5.
The Bulls dropped game one in heartbreaking fashion, allowing a two-run walk-off home run. After falling behind, 3-0, in the first inning, an RBI double by Vinny Mallaro and an RBI single by Connor Regan cut the lead to 3-2 in the top of the fourth. Back-to-back RBI singles by Chris Kwitzer and Kyle Brennan put the Bulls ahead, 4-3, in the top of the fifth.
