BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo men's tennis team swept the Mid-American Conference weekly awards as junior Vilhelm Fridell was named the singles player of the week, while Ethan Nittolo and Hao Sheng Koay earned the doubles team of the week.
Fridell went a perfect 3-0 at second singles this past week as the Bulls won all three of their Mid-American Conference matches. Beginning on Monday, Fridell scored a 6-4, 6-3 win over Binghamton and then on Friday he added another straight set win over Danilo Vukotic from Toledo, 6-4, 7-5.
