Bulls Split Friday Doubleheader with Central Michigan

BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo softball team split its doubleheader with Central Michigan at Nan Harvey Field on Friday afternoon. The Bulls defeated the Chippewas 6-5 in game one before falling 3-2 in the second game of the day.

The Bulls struck first in game one as Anna Aguon singled to left center and Jenelle Martinez knocked her in with an RBI single to left to make it 1-0 at the end of the first inning.

Offense would then be at a premium as CMU wouldn't record their first hit until the top of the fifth, but Ally Power picked up a big strikeout to end the inning.
