BUFFALO, NY – The National Wrestling Coaches Association released its final Mid-Major Top 20 of the season on Wednesday and Buffalo is ranked ninth. Formulated in 2017, the Mid-Major Top 20 concentrates on the programs that fall outside of the traditional "Power 5" conferences.
The Bulls finished the dual season 12-5 and are the highest ranked MAC team in the poll. Old Dominion (11th) and Ohio (19th), whom the Bulls defeated, are the other two Mid-American Conference programs ranked in the poll. Please note, fellow MAC member Missouri is not considered a mid-major program.
