BUFFALO, NY – The National Wrestling Coaches Association released its first Mid-Major Top 20 of the season on Thursday and Buffalo is ranked 13th. Formulated in 2017, the Mid-Major Top 20 concentrates on the programs that fall outside of the traditional "Power 5" conferences.
The Bulls are 9-4 in duals on the season and are the second highest ranked MAC team in the poll. Only Old Dominion, whom the Bulls defeated, 19-12, on January 20 are ranked higher at eighth. Please note, fellow MAC member Missouri is not considered a mid-major program.
The Bulls have two wrestlers in the national rankings.
