BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo football team rolled up 486 yards of total offense to defeat Colgate, 33-10, in the home opener at UB Stadium on Saturday night. The Bulls scored on their first five possessions of the game to jump out to a 30-3 lead and never looked back.
Buffalo rushed for a season-high 302 yards on 58 carries in the game. Sophomore Emmanuel Reed had a breakout game for the Bulls, rushing for a career-high 120 yards. Quarterback Tyree Jackson also posted a career-high in rushing yards with 97 on only 12 carries.
