ITHACA, NY – The University at Buffalo wrestling team put a major scare into 7th-ranked Cornell before falling 18-15 in the Bulls first dual meet of the season. The Bulls quickly jumped out to a 9-0 lead thanks to win at 125, 133 and 141, silencing the Big Red faithful at Newman Arena.
"We came out and wrestled hard," head coach John Stutzman said. "We are still a young team, but we are gaining experience. I'm excited for where we are going. Spilling 5/5 against the 7th ranked team is a testament to these guys.
