BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo men's basketball team drained 17 three-pointers, the second most in school history and the most in over 21 years, but the Bulls fell just short, falling 89-73 to the eighth ranked team in the country in Texas A&M.
The Bulls hung tight with the Aggies, but were unable to stop them inside as Texas A&M held a 50-14 advantage in the paint. However, the Bulls hit 10 of their 17 three pointers in the first half as they trailed by just three at the break.
The Bulls took a couple of one-point leads in the first half as a three from senior Wes Clark put UB ahead 17-16 with 9:19 left.
