WILLIAMSVILLE, NY – The University at Buffalo women's team dropped their final regular season home match on Saturday afternoon as the Bulls fell to Akron, 6-1, at Miller Tennis Center.
The Zips took the early lead in doubles with victories at first and second doubles.
UB got on the board first in singles as junior Emel Abibula was dominant in her match at five as she dropped just one game in 6-0, 6-1 victory. However, the Zips won the remaining five matches, including three of those in straight sets.
Buffalo forced third sets at both third and fourth singles, but Akron came out on top in both instances.
