NORFOLK, VA – The University at Buffalo wrestling team earned a hard-fought 19-12 victory at Old Dominion on Sunday afternoon to secure its first Mid-American Conference win of the season. Trailing 12-10 in the dual, the Bulls won the day's final three matches to pull out the victory.
After dropping the first match, Derek Spann quickly tied the dual with a 10-4 decision over Killian Cardinale at 133. The Bulls' redshirt sophomore stayed perfect, improving to 10-0 in duals on the season.
One of the key bouts of the day came at 141 lbs.
