BROOKLINE, MA – The University at Buffalo baseball team completed its Spring Break trip with an 8-4 loss to Northeastern on Sunday afternoon.
The Huskies scored three runs in the bottom of the first inning and lead through out the contest. UB got on the board in the top of the second as Chris Kwitzer hit a one-out home run over the left field fence. It was the last time UB would get on the scoreboard before the ninth inning.
Northeastern built an 8-1 lead with single runs in the fourth, fifth and seventh before adding two more in the eighth, but the Bulls had one last push in the ninth.
