KENT, OH – The University at Buffalo baseball team fell in the series finale to the first-placed Kent State Golden Flashes on Sundat afternoon at Schoonover Stadium by the score of 12-2. With their third straight loss, the Bulls fall to 14-29 overall and 6-15 in MAC play.
The Golden Flashes opened up the scoring on Sunday in the second inning as they earned a single, a balk and another single to make the score 1-0 in favor of the home team. Kent State was then able to blow the game open in the third inning as they notched seven runs on nine hits and an error in the inning.
