BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo women's soccer team (11-7-0, 5-6-0 MAC) dropped their final home match of the season on Thursday afternoon inside UB Stadium to the Akron Zips, 3-2, on a goal in the 75th minute of play. Despite the loss, Buffalo clinched a spot in the Mid-American Conference Tournament as the No. 7 seed. UB will head to No. 2 Ball State on Sunday afternoon for a 1:00 pm kick off.
