BUFFALO, NY – For nearly 38 minutes on Saturday afternoon the University at Buffalo men's basketball team and St. Bonaventure played a contest so tight that neither team led by more than six, but an eight-minute stretch late in the second half was Buffalo's undoing as the Bonnies came away with a 73-62 win in front of 6,212 at Alumni Arena. The loss drops the Bulls to 4-3 on the season.
It was a physical battle that saw both teams shoot under 38% for the afternoon. However, UB really struggled on the offensive end as the Bulls shot just 33.
