WILLIAMSVILLE, NY – The University at Buffalo women's tennis team won their fifth straight match on Friday afternoon as the Bulls opened Mid-American Conference play with a 5-2 win over Toledo. The Rockets came into the match winners of nine of their last 10 matches. The Bulls improve to 8-3 on the season with the win.
Toledo won the doubles point as the Rockets grabbed the first two matches to go out to the early 1-0 lead. The third doubles match was halted with UB holding on to a slim 4-3 lead.
However, UB came back in singles, winning five of the six matches, all in straight sets.
