BOWLING GREEN, OH – The University at Buffalo women's basketball team (22-4, 13-2 MAC) won their sixth straight game on Wednesday night to clinch their first Mid-American Conference East division regular season championship as they handed the Bowling Green Flacons the 88-67 defeat inside the Stroh Center. The win also secured the Bulls a top-two seed in the upcoming MAC Tournament.
The difference in the game on Wednesday night was the Bulls presence in the paint as they were able to outscore the Falcons 44-20. Buffalo has now outscored their opponents in 22 of their last 23 games inside the paint.
