Buffalo hosted Saint Bonaventure hoping to sweep their big four contests this season. Instead The Bonnies, lifted by the return of Jaylen Adams, suffocated UB in the second half and won the game 73-62.
Buffalo took a three point lead into the half, and led well into the second but a Saint Bonaventure Rally handed them the lead with 9:51 remaining.
The Bulls were led by CJ Massinburg and Nick Perkins each scored 21 points, while Saint Bonaventure keyed off a 25 point effort by Matt Mobley.
UB was out rebounded 50-38, out shot 37% to 33%, and UB committed two more turnovers.
