WILLIAMSVILLE, NY – The University at Buffalo men's tennis team capped off a strong opening weekend of Mid-American Conference play with a 7-0 win over Toledo on Sunday afternoon at the Miller Tennis Center. The Bulls improved to 2-0 in MAC play with two shutout victories.
"This was the weekend we needed, head coach Lee Nickell said. "I am proud that our team played focused and with guts and determination. We capitalized on most opportunities, and closed out sets by playing to win. Now our expectation is to play this way every match, and I know our guys can do that.
