UB Women’s basketball continued their blistering start to the season on Tuesday night when they traveled down Main Street to defeat Canisius, 84-66.
The sizable ending margin is surprising considering how Buffalo started the evening. Although the Bulls saw a variety of players step up to score in the first half, UB still experienced droughts when it was time to run some offense. The Golden Griffins took advantage and even held a lead for a lot of the half until UB slowly climbed back to a 35-30 edge.
The story of this win truly begins in the second half, where Buffalo put together their best stretch of defensive play this season.
