Buffalo got some much needed help in the defensive backfield for 2021 with the transfer of Madison Cone, from the Wisconsin Badgers.
Cone finished his Wisconsin career with 33 games played with 26 total tackles and 2 interceptions. He also earned a nomination to the watch list for the Wuerffel Trophy in 2020 as well as Academic All-Big Ten in 2018 and 2019.
Cone graduated with degree in community and nonprofit leadership in December 2019 and spent 2020 pursuing amaster’s degree in educational leadership and policy analysis
All and all this is the kind of transfer you want to see coming into the portal and it should help the defense put together another solid unit next season.
