BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo men's cross country program rose three spots in the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) regional rankings, claiming the 11th spot in the Northeast Region.
Buffalo rose three spots in the latest poll for the Northeast Region, from 14th to 11th, this past week. The rankings, which reflect current season results as well as this weekend's competitions from around the country, are determined by a single member coach in each respective region. Buffalo's jump in the rankings come shortly after the Bulls' strong performance in the Paul Short Invitational, hosted by Lehigh University this past Saturday, in which the Bulls took home a second place finish in the Open Men's 8k and 13th out of a competitive field of 40 teams in the Gold Men's 8k event.
