On Monday night, the NCAA Selection Committee recognized the strong resume that UB Women’s Hoops together this season, granting the Bulls an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament. UB will head to Tallahassee, Florida on Saturday as a #11 seed to take on the #6 University of South Florida Bulls.
USF comes into the tourney with an at-large bid as well after finishing second in the American Athletic Conference, posting a 26-7 overall, 13-3 conference mark. USF is currently ranked in the AP Top-25 at 19th in the nation.
The at-large bid is the first for UB and the first in a long time for the Mid-American Conference.
