The strong start to the season continues. With two wins in hand, Buffalo took on the Manhattan Jaspers and gave them a basketball clinic. Thirteen Bulls put points on the board, giving Buffalo a balanced scoring attack. UB also had their best defensive effort since February in the 73-39 demolishing.
The Bulls came out of the gate strong in the first quarter like they have all season. JoAnna Smith found a lot of scoring through the free throw line while six other Bulls were able to find some scoring before the quarter ended at a 21-9 margin.
So far this season, we’ve come to see the offense slow down once the second quarter arrives but Buffalo kept pushing.
