In their first game back in Alumni since winning a home playoff game in March, the UB Women picked up right where they left off. The Bulls never forfeited the lead over the Bloomsburg Huskies and played the gritty defense they are known for. By the time the second half rolled around, Buffalo cruised to a 65-45 win.
The first quarter was the Bulls’ best quarter of the game. UB outscored Bloomsburg 22-9 thanks to scoring from some pleasant surprises. JoAnna Smith quickly knocked down two threes, but it was Liisa Ups and Mariah Suchan giving the Bulls an extra edge.
