With their undefeated start coming to an end against Harvard, Buffalo Bulls Women’s Basketball got back on track to open up Mid-American Conference play. The Miami RedHawks proved to be no match for Buffalo, surrendering this game 71-45 as they couldn’t get past Buffalo’s defense.
It wasn’t the best start to the game as it looked like UB was shaking off some rust from their loss to Harvard. Miami quickly unloaded from three and got to the line to trail only 6-5 to the Bulls. UB’s freshmen took over from there as Summer Hemphill and Theresa Onwuka brought in contributions to help bring UB to a 20-13 first quarter lead.
