Another weekend, another school record.
Or two.
Amy Shaw broke one of UB's oldest program records this evening with a 16:29 showing in the 5000 meters at the Division I Invite hosted in Geneva, Ohio. Among events still contested, only the Triple Jump mark had stood longer than Jenny Koeppel's 16:34 in 2005, when she also set the program's 3000m mark, which still stands.
In addition to Shaw, Brian Crimmins continued his stellar track season, running 2:22 in the 1000 to claim another school record. In this case, the mark was considerably younger, as it was previously held by current Bull Tyler Scheving, who has traded marks with Crimmins a few times now.
