All eyes were on Drew Anderson in his first career start but it was running back Emmanuel Reed who stole the show. Behind a solid showing by Reed UB triumphed at Kent 27-13.
Between a three and out and a fist down interception UB’s offense put on only 4 plays in their first two drives. Thankfully early on the Defense did it’s part. Sacks be Khalil Hodge and Demone Harris twice stopped the flashes in their tracks before UB’s offense woke up.
It was not Drew Anderson who got things moving but Emmanuel Reed. Reed was the sole weapon on a 4 play 80 yard drive which featured a 55 and 18 yard runs.
