UB will move forward with a new assistant coach this upcoming season. Jamie Quarles will take over the empty spot left from Lindsey Hunter, who spent the past season with the Bulls.
Quarles will come to UB with six years of Division II assistant coaching experience at his alma mater Augusta University. In that span, Quarles helped head coach Dip Metress compile a 175-58 record and reach the Division II tournament on three separate occasions, including a regional semifinals berth this past season with the Jaguars.
The open spot in the coaching lineup comes after former assistant coach Lindsey Hunter decided to move back home to Detroit, where his family currently resides.
