This week was an extremely good time to turn football’s year around. On paper Buffalo made positive gains with a flourishing offense, but the score does not resemble that. UB could not turn 413 net yards into points and that would utterly doom the Bulls from the start.
The first quarter started in the worst imaginable way for the Bulls. After receiving the kickoff, Ohio threw a bomb to the right and scored on the first play to gain a 7-0 advantage. Throughout the quarter Buffalo moved the ball down the field pretty well but costly mistakes let Ohio keep knocking on the door for more points.
