Knowing they needed a win to extend their season, the Buffalo Bulls defeated the Ohio Bobcats, 31-24, thanks to a touchdown in the final quarter by Emmanuel Reed.
For just the third time since they returned to Division I football, the Buffalo Bulls are eligible for postseason play.
With the game knotted up at 24 apiece, the Bulls found a way to stop Ohio at all costs in the fourth quarter. Kyle DeWeen began the Bulls rally by pinning the Bobcats deep at the five-yard line. Ohio couldn’t muster any offense against the win and punted after three plays.
