Last season Buffalo ran into a buzz saw when they flew down to Oxford to take on Miami. The Bulls were beaten and their starting quarterback was put out of the game for the season. In came Kyle Vantrease who finsihed the season as UB’s starting quarterback.
After tonight’s game Miami probably wishes that KVT was still on the sideline.
Vantrease got a bowl win for Buffalo last season by making great decisions and playing within himself. He never put up amazing numbers but was always managing a running back powered offense.
Tonight he threw for four touchdowns and more than 350 yards as the Bulls pummeled Miami to go 2-0 in the abbreviated six game season.
