Toledo made UB's conference opener a tough contest but behind a pheonominal night at the free throw line the Bulls Burried Toledo 104-94 at Buffalo's Alumni Arena.
UB led for most of the contest and had built a comy ten point lead ealry in the second half, but between the 15 and 10 minute marks the refs blew 10 fouls, most of them on Buffalo. That break in momentum let Toledo get back to within a score and it stayed there for until CJ Massinburg took over late in the game.
Massinburg scored 10 of his 27 points in the final 5:24 to help Buffalo pull away and beat Toledo 104-94 on Tuesday night in a Mid-American Conference opener.
