AKRON, OH – The track and field teams took part in the Akron Invitational on Friday and Saturday. This meet allowed the Bulls to compete at the site of the 2016 MAC Championships for indoor track and field.
For the second straight week Brian Crimmins broke the school record in the one mile run with a time of 4.07.45, which is .29 faster than what he ran a week ago at Penn State. Amy Shaw finished first and hit a season-best time of 4:56.58 in the women's one mile run, while Melinda Wheeler took home a third-place finish with a time of 4:58.
