EVANSTON, IL – The brackets have been released for the 2018 Ken Kraft Midlands Championships which begins on Saturday at Northwestern University. Eight members of the University at Buffalo wrestling team will compete in the prestigious event.
Derek Spann is the Bulls' highest ranked wrestler at the tournament, seeded eighth at 133 lbs. The redshirt-sophomore will face Iowa's Paul Glynn in his opening bout.
Marcus Robinson and Kyle Todrank will both compete in the 141-lb. bracket. Robinson will face Northern Illinois' Anthony Cheloni in his first match, while Todrank will face Princeton's Marshall Keller the first time he takes the mat.
