OLEAN – St. Bonaventure found enough offense to outscore the highest-scoring team in the Atlantic 10 Conference on Saturday night.
The Bonnies got a career-high 30 points from sophomore guard Jay Adams in defeating Davidson College, 95-85, at the Reilly Center.
Bona pulled away from a back-and-forth, frantic game over the final five minutes.
The Bonnies got 19 points from senior guard Marcus Posley and 12 from senior forward Dion Wright.
The Wildcats got a career-high 23 points from backup guard Jordan Watkins, who was averaging only 4.8 points a game. Jack Gibbs scored 15.
