Sometimes it only takes one player to jumpstart a team.
In today's 80-64 UB win over Binghamton, it was freshman CJ Massinburg, who scored 11 points in 90 seconds to pull the Bulls out of a 15-11 hole, 4-13 opening slump, and three minutes of scorelessness. Buffalo's first ever Texan, who's scored in buckets at times this season, led his team in scoring with 17 points, but the entire 'second string' of Massinburg, Rodell Wigginton, David Kadiri, and Blake Hamilton chipped in across the stat sheet to turn a sluggish opening into a comfortable lead late in the half.
