Baseball - Bulls bats fall silent in Kentucky

Alec Tuohy was not lights out today but keeping Kentucky to 5 runs, all earned in single run innings, should have been enough to keep UB competitive. Unfortunately for Buffalo after tying the game in the second inning, on an unearned run, they could not muster any kind of offense.

So as the innings rolled along UB fell further behind. One painful run at a time.

The wildcats took the lead, 1-0, after the first inning but the Bulls would briefly make a game of it.

In the top of the second inning Vinny Mallaro opened with a walk and then Mike Abrunzo hit a hard single to left field.
