Casey Valenti-Paea has joined the UB Women’s Basketball Team. She is a 5–9 guard from Melbourne, Australia, who has represented Australia in international 3x3 tournaments, and has represented her state of Victoria in national tournaments, and also won the MVP in the Victoria Champions Classic Tournament.
UB fans may remember another resident of Melbourne who joined UB in mid-season and made her first appearance for UB in January. That was Stephanie Reid, who went on to be the Bulls all-time leader in assists, and led Buffalo to their first two NCAA tournament appearances.
According to UB Coach Felisha Legette-Jack, Valenti-Paea will remind UB fans of Reid, but with a better three point shot.
