BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo wrestling team stayed red-hot, beating Sacred Heart, 43-4, at Alumni Arena on Sunday afternoon. It was the Bulls' second win of the weekend and fifth straight dual win overall.
The Bulls got off to a dream start as Kyle Akins got a forfeit win in the first match, followed by three straight first-period pins. Less than six minutes into the match, Buffalo led 24-0.
Bryan Lantry needed only 1:50 to pin Gerald Daly in the 133 match. It was Lantry's third pin of the season and improved his record to 7-1 in duals on the year.
